Asia’s Most Trusted Partner for Resilience and Leadership Performance.
A global resilience institute.
The Resilience Institute was founded in 2002, with a singular focus: measure human performance with scientific precision, and use that data to build it. Today, the institute operates across 70 countries, headquartered in Switzerland, with delivery networks spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Southeast Asia. Resilience Institute Asia is the regional home of that methodology, with dedicated hubs across Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and moreeee.
We work with CHROs, Chief People Officers, and L&D Directors inside multinational corporations navigating restructuring, digital transformation, and the compounding pressure of high-attrition environments. Our role is to measure where your organisation stands and close the gap with structured training, coaching, and certification that produces data your board can understand.
Who are we?
Founded on Science. Built for Organisations.
Dr. Sven Hansen, a medical doctor specialising in executive health and high-performing teams founded the Resilience Institute New Zealand in 2002. The central question driving the research was not philosophical: it was clinical. What separates individuals who sustain high performance under sustained pressure from those who deteriorate? And more importantly, can those separating factors be measured, trained, and tracked?
The answer became the Resilience Assessment, a 50-factor diagnostic across physical, emotional, cognitive, and social domains that has been completed by over 150,000 professionals in 70 countries. It is the data infrastructure behind every programme we deliver. The assessment sets the baseline before training begins, defines what gets built during the programme, and produces the before-and-after scores that make the investment visible to finance and the board.
The global team bringing this to organisations spans medical doctors, psychologists, neuroscientists, and business practitioners with careers built inside the organisations they now serve. In Asia, programmes are led by Manish Arneja, Managing Partner of Resilience Institute Asia, who brings over 16 years of experience as an HR leader in Fortune 500 businesses across Europe and Asia – with direct delivery experience inside Danone, PwC, Grab, Shell, Unilever, Microsoft, LVMH, HSBC, and many more.

What The Data Shows?
54% of professionals globally are functioning at risk.
The 2025 Global Resilience Report drawn from 8,419 assessments across 70 countries found that 54% of the global workforce sits in the “challenged” zone: present, delivering, but without the recovery capacity to sustain performance through another cycle of pressure. This is not a wellbeing finding. It is a performance and retention risk that most organisations are currently carrying without knowing the number.
The organisations that engage Resilience Institute do so because they want to know their numbers and they want to move it.
Some of the real results:
- At Edwards Lifesciences, a structured programme produced a 41% improvement in resilience scores; Senior VP Carine S. subsequently committed to deploying the assessment across the full Critical Care organisation.
- At Fletcher Building, 334 participants in a post-restructure programme saw at-risk individuals reduce by 44% and customer satisfaction scores improve by 25%.
- At a regional bank navigating M&A integration across Asia, voluntary attrition in the top-100 leadership tier dropped by 22% over six months, alongside a 38% increase in resilience scores.
- In a pharmaceutical rollout delivered across eight weeks in three languages, 85% of participants implemented the techniques immediately.
These results are produced by measuring first, training against the gaps, and reassessing. The assessment is not an add-on to the programme. It is the proven method that shifts towards your goals.
How Do We Build Resilient Organisations?
A data-driven, human-centered approach to resilience
We provide evidence-based framework that integrates:
Resilience Assessment
Every engagement begins with measurement. Our flagship 50-factor diagnostic provides personalised insights and benchmarks resilience levels across teams and organisations. That data tells you exactly where the resilience gaps are, which teams carry the highest risk, and what interventions will move the scores. It also sets the standard against which every outcome is later measured.
Training & Transformation
Training is built around those gaps. We customise programmes based on your organisations’ needs. The gaps revealed at a pharmaceutical company navigating regulatory change differ from those in a financial services firm absorbing a post-acquisition leadership restructure, and the programme design reflects that. Delivery spans workshops, leadership coaching, team coaching journeys, certification, and organisational wide programmes – in-person or virtual, in a single market or across multiple hubs.
Insights & Reporting
Once the programme is complete, follow-up assessments measure what changed. The before-and-after score differential is the output the CHRO presents to the board. It is also what drives the decision to extend, deepen, or scale the programme the following year, which is why organisations such as Swisscaution have run six consecutive assessment rounds across 30 months, and why the education sector clients who began with one cohort expanded to 150 people in year two with a 44.8% overall resilience improvement recorded.
Our approach is scientifically validated and results-driven, combining modern preventative medicine, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and high-performance psychology. We blend cutting-edge research with real-world application, ensuring that leaders and teams achieve lasting results.

What Sets Us Apart?
We combine deep expertise with powerful technology.
Expert-led. Data-driven. Proven to Work.
- The World’s Most Validated Resilience Assessment Benchmarked for Asia. The only provider in Singapore that operates a validated, multi-domain resilience assessment with this depth of measurement. Our assessment measures the 50 factors across Bounce, Well-being, and Performance Mindset that predict whether a person or team will hold together under sustained organisational pressure. Powered by ResilienceAI, it produces individual reports, team dashboards, longitudinal tracking, and leader-level reporting.
- Global Research. Localised Delivery. No Compromise. When a global pharmaceutical company runs a resilience programme across Singapore, Indonesia, and the United States simultaneously, they need a provider who can execute in each market without diluting the methodology. We provide active delivery hubs across all 7 markets and a global research backbone that ensures every programme is grounded in the same scientific standard, regardless of geography.
- Multiple countries and delivery hubs, one methodology. For a CHRO managing leadership development across Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur, the operational question is whether a provider can execute consistently across all four markets without diluting the programme or the data. We maintain active delivery infrastructure across Asia. The methodology applied in Singapore is the same one delivered in Jakarta. The data produced is comparable across markets.
We go beyond workshops, embedding resilience into your culture with tools and strategies that deliver measurable, lasting impact.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Resilience training is a structured intervention that builds the capacity of leaders and teams to sustain performance under pressure, recover from setbacks, and adapt to organisational change. Resilience Institute Asia measures this capacity before and after every programme using the 50-factor Resilience Assessment — producing before-and-after data rather than participant satisfaction scores.
The structural difference is measurement. Most providers deliver training without knowing the baseline condition of the teams they are training, and without data to show what changed. Every Resilience Institute Asia engagement begins with the 50-factor assessment — benchmarked against 150,000 professionals globally — and closes with a follow-up assessment that quantifies the change. The methodology is also backed by 22 years of global research and operates across 70 countries, which means the benchmarks your team is measured against reflect a global standard, not a local one.
We work primarily with organisations of 50 to 50,000+ employees — multinational corporations with Singapore regional headquarters or APAC operations and across Asia. The Resilience Assessment is priced at flat-fee tiers from SGD 5,990 for 100–499 users through to custom pricing for 2,000+ users. For organisations with dispersed teams across Asia, we have active delivery hubs in all seven major markets.
Yes. Resilience Institute Asia has active delivery infrastructure as partner networks across Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and others. Resilience Institute globally operates across 70 countries, including Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, the Middle East, Southern Africa, and Oceania.
The institute is B Corp certified and ISO 27001 certified. The Resilience Coach Certification and Resilience Trainer Certification are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF CCE) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM PDC). Programmes are also approved for SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit for eligible Singapore-registered organisations.
